Andrea Johanson is a seasoned entrepreneur, business development strategist, and communications expert with over 20 years of experience helping organizations grow and thrive. Her background includes marketing, nonprofit development, executive support, and public speaking education. She has successfully led sales teams, trained high-level leaders, and helped launch sustainable revenue streams for hundreds of individuals. As a published author, passionate speaker, and mentor, Andrea brings clarity and compassion to her leadership. Her heart for empowerment is evident in her work with trafficking survivors and community development projects. At Tulay Strategic Connections, Andrea oversees strategy, marketing, and client success, ensuring both excellence in service and purpose in impact.

Brian Johanson brings over 25 years of experience in construction, project management, and operations leadership. With a strong background in entrepreneurship and humanitarian outreach, he has led successful businesses and managed complex projects—consistently prioritizing integrity, client satisfaction, and sustainable results. His innovative approach is reflected in the development of a first-of-its-kind mobility device, created in collaboration with UNC’s Lee School of Engineering. Brian’s humanitarian work adds depth and global perspective to his leadership. He has worked alongside international teams to provide training and development for rescue efforts and has built key relationships that helped expand the reach and impact of those missions. At Tulay, Brian leads operational strategy, team development, and innovation—ensuring smooth systems, strong support for growing international teams, and a commitment to excellence at every level.

Mat built his career in the BPO industry, working with companies from the U.S. and other countries, gaining extensive experience in IT Service Management, Operations, Technical Support, and Customer Service. Over the years, he developed the ability to adapt to diverse business cultures while consistently delivering results that meet international standards. At Tulay Strategic Connections, Mat collaborates with American business leaders to provide high-quality website development and Virtual Assistant solutions. His focus is on helping clients streamline operations, reduce administrative burdens, and drive growth by connecting them with dependable offshore talent. The company’s mission is clear: to serve as the bridge (“Tulay”) between businesses and opportunities, delivering exceptional services that empower clients to scale with confidence.

Mark Cassara is a seasoned entrepreneur and financial strategist with over 20 years of experience in purpose-driven business development, marketing, systems design, and strategic consulting. With a background that blends ministry leadership and marketplace insight, Mark brings a unique ability to craft scalable solutions that drive operational success and lasting impact. His work spans leadership roles in both nonprofit and business settings, including international outreach across the U.S., Central America, and Asia. Mark is passionate about empowering teams, building sustainable revenue models, and developing infrastructure that supports redemptive employment and community transformation. At Tulay Strategic Connections, he leads business strategy and growth—developing the frameworks, partnerships, and systems that expand global opportunities and multiply impact.

Steve brings over 25 years of law enforcement experience to his role at Tulay Strategic Connections, with a specialized focus on criminal investigations involving child exploitation and human trafficking. His distinguished career includes serving as a Special Agent, where he led and supported cyber investigations targeting child exploitation and served as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force. He also assisted with anti-human trafficking investigations and operations, which deepened his resolve to advocate for vulnerable populations—especially those often overlooked or forgotten. In addition to his work in law enforcement, Steve and his wife have served as house parents for juvenile survivors of trafficking and remain active in street outreach—offering meals, prayer, and hope to individuals seeking a way out. As Community Liaison & Strategic Advisor, Steve builds partnerships with ministries and community organizations—both in the U.S. and abroad—to support Tulay’s mission of empowering individuals and transforming at-risk communities through dignified, purpose-driven work.
